Because of the need in precision measurements, AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) technology is thought of the main technology for many quality control and precision measurements. In Taiwan, most AOI plants were expensive and hard to integrate with the other manufacturing machines. This high resolution linear CCD module can make AOI technology possibly to integrated with the other manufacturing machines, so that the measurement and the quality control can be integrated in one single machine to reduce the cost.
