Flat-Top Beam Shaping Diffractive Optical Elements
Introduction
Recently, the industry of flat panel display is booming in Taiwan. The pressing demand for large size glass panels leads to development of larger flat panel displays. However, the traditional industry is unable to meet this demand. As a result, companies resort to laser process technologies, one of which is the CO2 laser process, providing better performance to handle this. Furthermore, the Flat-Top beam shaping diffractive optical element (DOE), the so-called optical homogenizer, can be used in place of the refractive optical element (ROE) so that the DOE plays a key role in the laser process system.
